Software Installation of WLAN Location Engine 2340

NN47250-306 (324121-A Version 01.01)

System Update

For Nortel WLAN Location Engine 2340, that requires a System Update, do the following:

1

Connect to the WLE2340 Administration GUI using the URL: 

https://<WLE2340_IP_Address>:8003

Select the 

File>System Update. 

The System Update wizard appears.

 

System Updates are distributed in binary format.

Click 

Browser

. Select the binary image to upload.

Click 

OK

.

Click ‘Browse…’ to select the binary image to upload, and then click ‘OK’ to start the System Update process. A dialog 
box indicating that the upload is underway appears.

If there is a problem with the update, the option to revert is available upon reboot without finalizing the update.  
Otherwise the following System Update status messages appears:

Image Uploaded

•

Extracting

•

System Rebooting / System Rebooted

Note.  

While updating the file, if it encounters any problem, then the interface will indicate that 

and reverts it to the current system..
