When this TAD-to-Fax mode is activated, the
Ultra Switch 100
will route
the line to the fax port after the answering machine (connected behind the
Ultra Switch 100
) completes its operation ( i.e., answers the line, plays
the pre-recorded outgoing message, and records incoming voice message,
etc. ). Please refer to page 20 to enable this mode.
The TAD-to-Fax switching is useful to facilitate fax transmission from a
pulse-dial fax machine by which Fax Access Code can not be entered to
instruct the
Ultra Switch 100
for fax switching. When this mode is on,
you may record the outgoing message to remind the fax caller to stay on
the line until the fax tone is heard.
