Installing and Replacing Network
Interface Cards
Your Nokia IP561 security platform comes with any network interface cards (NICs) you ordered
already installed. All NICs installed in the appliance are housed in PMC expansion slots. You
should have a working knowledge of networking equipment before you attempt to service a
appliance.
The IP561 supports the following NICs:
Four-port 10/100 Ethernet
Four-port and two-port copper Gigabit Ethernet
Two-port fiber-optic Gigabit Ethernet
