The Nokia IP561 security platform is designed for front-screw mounting in a 19-inch rack. Each
IP561 requires the following space in a rack:

3.5 inches (8.89 centimeters) of vertical space

28 inches (71 centimeters) behind the front-panel of the rack

6 inches (15 centimeters) behind the IP561 to allow the back exit fan to move air through the
appliances

Caution

Do not block the ventilation holes on the IP561 appliance. The appliance might
overheat and become damaged.
