The Nokia IPSO operating system automatically recognizes the NIC and applies the original
configuration to the new NIC.

Resecure the two chassis tray assembly retaining screws.

Configuring and Activating Interfaces
The IP290 appliance automatically detects any new NIC when the appliance is restarted. Use
Nokia Network Voyager to configure and activate the logical and physical interfaces on the NIC.

Monitoring Network Interface Cards
You can assess the general operating condition of the NICs in your appliance by looking at the
LED status indicators on the NICs.
