Sets the switch to synchronize with the specified remote host.
date
The
date
command, in Global Configuration mode, sets the system time and date.
Command Syntax

Argument Description
HH:MM:SS
The current time (hours in 24-hour format, minutes and seconds).
DAY
Day of month in the range <1-31>.
MONTH
Name of month in English:

. (Capitalization is not
required.)
YEAR
Year in four-digit number format in the 1993-2035 range.

The following example sets system time to 12:30:00 and date 1 April 2004:
