Ethernet Cables
The Nokia 5i and Nokia 10i use IEEE 802.3 10 BASE-T, 100 Base-TX
shielded twisted-pair, CAT-5 ethernet cables.
To connect Ethernet devices:
Use a straight-through RJ-45 cable to connect to a 10-Mbps or 100-Mbps
hub or switch.
Use a crossover RJ-45 cable to connect directly to a host.
After you connect the network interfaces, you can perform the initial gateway
configuration. For information about how to configure the gateway, see

Ethernet Cable Pin Assignments
Figure 5
shows the pin assignments for an RJ-45 cable. The RJ-45 cable
output connector is numbered from left to right, with the copper tabs facing
down and toward you.
