4.5 Pruning Operation
Do not allow children or animals to enter the working range of the pole pruner
(within 15m).
* Otherwise, a serious accident will happen.
The pole pruner must be started or operated by one person.
* If it is operated by more than one person, it could be miss-handled, and it could contact
with a person or objects, resulting in accident.
Supply chain oil before operating.
During the operation, make sure periodically that the chain oil is being
discharged.
* Otherwise, the saw chain or guide bar could be damaged. Also, the guide bar could be
hot, and if you touched, you could suffer burn injury.
Work at a place where you will not be hit by falling branches.
Operate according to the operation method described in the instruction
manual.
* You could get injured by the falling branches and bouncing back branches.
When using multiple pole pruners at the same time, each operator must be at least 15 meters away from
the others.
■ Holding Method of Pole Pruner
● Always hold the pole pruner with both hands during
operation. To prevent accidents due to inappropriate
operation, always support the pole pruner stably
during the operation by folding as follows.
Right hand: Control grip
Left hand: Loop handle
(Same applies to left-handers.)
● Always keep a certain distance between the body and
equipment.
