Remove the second mount pin then carefully expand the brake band enough to clear the drive wheel brake drum and remove
from the machine.

To install the brake band follow the above steps in reverse order. See the “Brake Adjustment” section in this manual and adjust
the brake pedal free play and test the brake system for proper operation.

See Figure 8. There are (6) carbon brush assemblies, (4) of them are located equally spaced on the outside diameter of motor
end bell cover. Remove the inspection caps (Z)

A new carbon brush measures 20mm (.780 inches) in length. Replace the brushes when worn to a length less than 9.5mm (.375
