Options for Using GTYPE

GTYPE analyzes cell intensity data for Affymetrix GeneChip

DNA

Human Mapping and GenFlex

Tag arrays. You must install the

Affymetrix GeneChip

Operating System software (GCOS, version

1.4 or greater) on your computer before you install the GTYPE
software.

You can use GTYPE with:

• A stand-alone GCOS process database installed on your computer

(see

Using GTYPE with a Local GCOS Database

, below)

• A remote process database from a GCOS Server on a network

)
