Chapter 5 RS-232 Interface
Introduction
When the scanner is connected to the RS-232 port of a Host, you need to scan the barcode below to enable RS-232
communication and set communication parameters (including baud rate, parity check, data bit and stop bit) to match the
Host.

RS-232 Parameters
When the scanner is connected to the Host via serial port, it is necessary to maintain consistency in communication
parameters configuration on both devices to ensure smooth communication between them. The default settings of the
scanner are 9600bps, no parity check, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit.
