6.4.5. Packet Delimiter

Packet delimiter is used to control the number of packets in a serial communication. It is designed
to keep packets in track.
(1)
Timer.
If no more data within assigned time frame, the data will be transmitted. By default,
packet delimiter timer is 10 ms. the range of packet delimiter timer is
10
to
30,000
msec.
(2)
Character
. It is used for character pattern terminator as user assign. For example, if character
pattern is selected and a data stream ended with “0x0a04”, then the entire data buffer of the serial
device is transmitted. User can also choose character pattern as the packet delimiter indicated.
