Unpacking and Inspection
When you receive the UPM 2000, inspect the shipping carton for damage. If the
shipping carton is damaged, unpack the instrument and note any dents and scratches
on the UPM 2000.
Immediately notify Netech that the UPM 2000 was damaged in
shipping.
Netech will arrange repair or replacement of your instrument without
waiting for settlement of the claim against the carrier.
Retain the damaged shipping
carton and packing material for the carrier’s inspection
.
Be sure to save the box and packing materials. They will be needed when you return
the UPM 2000 to Netech for recalibration or future service. (Refer to
Chapter 4
for
shipping instructions.)
If there is no shipping damage, continue removing the carrying case, with the UPM
2000 in it, from the shipping case. Then
accessories that are shipped with every UPM 2000:
