rate. The pacemaker senses this QRS wave. The delay time is
gradually decremented until the QRS waveform is not sensed
by the pacemaker. The maximum value of the delay time, for
which the pacemaker does not sense the square wave, is the
paced refractory period.

From the Pacer Test Main Menu select “Refr”
(refractory) with F1
2.
The following Refractory Menu will be displayed.

Set the pacemaker in demand mode.
4.
Select “Pace” (F1). The pace refractory and the pulse
rate will be displayed after a few seconds.
5.
The measurement cycle continues and the display is
updated.
6.
To interrupt the measurement press “ESC” key.
7.
To save the test result press save. The result will be
saved to the Equipment Id set earlier.
