[The following guide uses the XCM8060SAT4 and XCM8040SAT4 as examples]
9.2 Standard Mode
The minimum line period is 35.7us (240MHz version) or 52.8us (160MHz version).
The dynamic range is calculated as the ratio between the saturation voltage of the
sensor and the dark output, and is 60dB per the camera specification.
9.3 Bending the line one time
①
For an integration time ratio of 10, send the following commands: “msl 0, 0, 8”;
“mst 0, 0, 10”; “int 0, 110” (integration time), then set Multi-slope mode by sending the
command “inm 3” or “inm 4”. The integration time becomes 100 (110-10) in the first
slope, 10 in the second slope, and the knee point becomes ½ of the saturation level,
as shown in the diagram below. Note that as the knee point level becomes larger, the
output becomes smaller.
The minimum line period becomes 61.9us (240MHz) or 92.8us (160MHz). The
dynamic range becomes 5.5 times 1 (Ratio of saturation exposure amount: 0.55/0.1),
i.e. 75dB (60dB + 20log5.5=74.8).
