3. Lay the keyboard key side down over the back of the system.
4. Locate and completely loosen the four screws securing the heat plate to the system. Do not
attempt to remove the screws.

5. Partially lift the heat plate. Disconnect the fan cable from connector P5 of the main board
and remove the heat plate.
6.
Disconnect the keyboard cable from connector P5 of the I/O board and remove the
keyboard.
Top Cover
Use the following steps to remove the top cover.
1.
Remove the LCD panel, keyboard, and heat plate from the system.
2. Turn the system over.
