The following section describes security and SMBIOS support.
Security
The user may enter up to eight standard text characters for a password. The
password includes two levels. The higher priority is the Supervisor Password.
The lower priority is the User Password. The Supervisor Password can access
all the system resources, while the User Password may not access the floppy
disk while it is protected by a Supervisor Password.
When the security function is enabled, the system will request the user to enter a
password:

Power On — The system will prompt the user to enter a password before
booting the OS. If the user enters the wrong password three times, the
system will halt.

Resume — The system will prompt the user to enter a password while
resuming from STR or STD mode. If the user enters the wrong password
three times, the system will not resume and it will return to Suspend
mode.

Entering CMOS Setup — The system will prompt the user to enter a
password before entering the CMOS Setup. If the user enters the wrong
password three times, the system will halt.
