Door Box
Your
UX5000
may
have
Door
Boxes.
A
Door
Box
is
a
self-contained
Intercom
unit
typically
used
to
monitor
entrance
doors.
A
visitor
at
the
door
can
press
the
Door
Box
call
button
(like

The
Door
Box
then
sends
chimes
to
certain
extensions.
If
you
receive
Door
Box
chimes,
you
can
just
lift
the
handset
to
answer
them.
You
can
then
talk
to
the
visitor
at
the
door.
Door
Boxes
come
in
handy
at
delivery
entrances.
Your
company
doesn't
have
to
have
someone
at
the
door
to
monitor
the
entrance.
You
can
just
answer
the
Door
Box
instead.
If
the
door
has
an
electric
strike,
you
can
even
use
your
terminal
to
release
the
door.
