Volume Control
You
can
control
the
volume
of
incoming
ringing,
splash
tone,
Paging,
Background
Music,
Handsfree
and
your
handset.
Keysets
consolidate
all
adjustments
into
the
volume
buttons.
Pressing
the
volume
buttons
when
the
terminal
is
idle
will
adjust
the
contrast
level
of
the
terminal's
display.
Set
the
specific
feature
vol-
ume
for
its
most
comfortable
level.
To adjust the volume of incoming ringing and splash tone:
1. Press
the
VOL DOWN
or
VOL UP
keys.
To adjust volume for incoming Paging, BGM, Handsfree and the handset:
1.
VOL DOWN
or
VOL UP
.
You
must
press
these
keys
while
on
a
call.
Note:
The
volume
must
be
set
while
the
feature
is
in
use
(for
example,
on
an
idle
terminal
with
no
BGM,
pressing
either
volume
key
adjusts
the
LCD
display).
You
can,
however,
press
the
CALL
key
+
829
+
VOL
UP
or
VOL
DOWN
to
adjust
ringing
at
an
idle
terminal.
