Whisper Page
This feature allows a secretary to interrupt the boss
privately. By pressing a feature key or dialing an access
code, the secretary’s telephone can interrupt the
conversation between the boss and another party.
When the conversation is interrupted, the boss can
hear the secretary but the other party is unaware of the
voice override.
(1) Press Secretary ( 42 ).
The Secretary Call (42) lamp lights red.
(2) Dial the secretary number.
(3) Press Voice Over ( 48 ) or dial the access code .
(4) Listen to conversation and speak to the boss’s
telephone only.
Using a Headset
Make/Answer a Call with a Headset
You and originate and respond to calls using an
optional headset.
(1) When call is received, press the
Headset/
Handset feature key. When the call is
completed, press the Headset/Handset feature
key again.
The Headset/Handset Answer key lamp goes off.
The Line key lamp goes off.
The feature access code/feature key is set by
system data setting at initial installation.
For details, contact the system administrator.
While on a call using handset, you can switch
to the headset by pressing the Headset/
Handset feature key.
You can answer a call by pressing Line key
after pressing the Headset/Handset feature
key.
You can also answer a call by pressing the
Answer key after pressing the Headset/
Handset feature key.
