Transfer a Call
This section explains how to transfer calls to another
telephone within the system. It also explains how to
answer the transferred calls.
Transfer a Call with Announcement
This procedures explains how to transfer a call when
you want to announce the transfer to the called party.
Initiate a Transfer using Extension 200
(1) With the call in progress, the Line key lamp lights
green.
(2) Press the
Transfer
key.
A special dial tone is heard.
The calling party is placed on hold.
(3) Dial the destination extension number.
(4) When the destination extension call is answered,
announce to the user who answered the call that
a call is being transferred.
(5) Replace the handset.
The Line key lamp lights red.
The call is transferred.
Transfer a Call without an Announcement
This procedures explains how to transfer a call when
you do not want to announce transfer to the called
party. After entering the transfer destination number,
simply return the handset to the cradle before the
transferred call is answered. When the called is
answered at the transfer destination, the parties are
automatically connected. The phone number for the
transferred party is displayed LCD on the destination
telephone.
Initiate a Transfer using Extension 200

key.

The calling party is placed on hold.
(3) Dial the destination extension number.
(4) Replace the handset.
The Line key lamp flashes red.
The call is transferred.
Answer a Transferred Call using Extension 210
This procedure describes how to answer a call that has
been transferred.
(1) When the telephone rings, the following occurs:
The Call Indicator lamp flashes.
The Line key lamp flashes red.
The extension number, where the call was
initiated, displays on the telephone LCD.
(2) Lift the handset to start a conversation with the
transferred party.
The Call Indicator lamp goes off.
(3) Extension user 200 goes on-hook to complete the
transfer.
When the destination party does not answer
within the predetermined time frame, the
system recalls the telephone that initiated the
transfer.
When the recall is retrieved, the destination
number is displayed on the LCD.
