Disabled is the default setting. Selecting Enabled allows
the ISA bus to run at 10 MHz, instead of the standard
8 MHz, if the ISA agents tolerate 10 MHz.

Free or
Used
Free is the default setting. Select Used if the system
contains an ISA agent that uses this interrupt. The PCI
auto-configuration code checks this entry and may
attempt to use the interrupt if free.
Peripheral Management Setup
This menu sets or modifies the peripheral options associated with the I/O controller of the
system, as outlined in Table Section 2-4.
Selection of a parameter is with the keyboard arrow keys or
Enter
key. Press
PgUp
or
PgDn
to modify the parameter. Press
Esc
to exit back to the Main Menu.
Pressing
F1
opens a small window listing the options available for the selected parameter.
Pressing
F5
reverts any changed values back to the original values. Pressing
F6
changes the
parameters to the BIOS setup defaults. Pressing
F7
changes the parameters to the power-on
defaults.
CAUTION:
Incorrect settings can cause the
system to malfunction.

Manual
The Auto setting (default) automatically sets the peripherals
during power up. With Auto selected, the following parameters
are disabled; the values shown are the last manual settings.
Selecting Manual accesses and changes the parameters.

On-Board IDE

Enabled
Disabled
Default is Disabled. This disables both the ISA and PCI on-
board peripherals.

in the Programming Option, above.
