7. The CPU read-accesses the access register (TMDR) of Accepted buffer to read the message it contains.

Note

: If TMDR register is accessed by 16-bit access, the lower word (16-bit) is not use. See Figure 3-33.

8. Each time the CPU has accessed the access register, the

PD98413 automatically increments the pointer

of the buffer. Upon the completion of reading from the highest address of the pointer, incremented each

time a read is performed, the pointer is automatically returned to 0.
