Upgrades and Options
Preparing Your System for Upgrade
Depending on the upgrade, you will need one or more of
the following tools:
■
Phillips screwdriver (#1 bit and #2 bit)
■
Flat-head screwdriver
■
Small needle nose pliers
■
Pen or pencil
■
Utility knife
■
ESD workstation or antistatic wrist strap
(recommended)
■
IC removal tool.
Equipment Log
Use the equipment log form located at the end of this
manual to record the model and serial number of your
system, all installed options, and any other pertinent
information specific to your system. You will need this
information when configuring your system.
