Chapter 8 Installing Optional Parts
8.3.5 Batteries
For installing and removing the battery (BBU), follow the procedure given below:
1. Remove the controller (CONT) from its cabinet.

2. Remove the controller cover.
Remove the cover by sliding it while pressing the lock (circled in the illustration below).

3. Remove the battery.
Push up on the battery connector in the illustration below to remove the connector. The battery can
then be removed.
Do not remove the connector while pulling a cable. Be careful about the damage of the
components by the contact.
