6.5 Connecting EWS

To connect an EWS, use the network interface.

– General

•

Turn off power.

•

If the IE-784000-R is connected to Ethernet for the first time, or if the network information is changed, set

the network information by referring to CHAPTER 9 SETTING NETWORK INFORMATION.

•

Connect channel 3 of the IE-784000-R and Ethernet with the IE-ETHER cable.

•

Turn on power.

– Setting network information (by software)

(1) Turn off power.

(2) Connect the IE-78000-R-SV3 board to the RS-232C setting compartment on a side panel of the IE-

784000-R.

(3) Connect the IE-ETHER cable to CH3.
