password entry screen to set administrative 
right is displayed. 
This password can be used to access all 
SETUP menus. Password can be set only 
when SETUP is started by administrative right. 
If no password is set, SETUP starts with 
administrative right.

When the <Enter> key is pressed, the

displayed. With this password, access to 
SETUP menus is limited. The user password

Lock 

Set the operation policy to write to the BIOS 
setting (NVRAM). If “Lock” is specified, writing 
from the OS to NVRAM is restricted. This 
function can be selected only when “Secure 
Boot” is set to “Disabled.” 

Secure Boot Configuration 

 

This option can be selected only when “Boot 
Mode” is set to “UEFI.” 

Trusted Computing 

– 

This option is displayed only when the optional 
TPM kit is installed and can be selected when 
an administrator password has been set.
