Additional battery for RAID Controller is not refreshed automatically except for the first time. However, it
is recommended to perform battery refresh once a year as guideline for stable operation of battery. Use
Universal RAID Utility to perform battery refresh manually. Refer to
Universal RAID Utility User's Guide
stored in EXPRESSBUILDER for more information.

DISK LED flashes
DISK LED flashes frequently even while the Hard Disk Drive is not accessed.

When Patrol Read is running, the DISK LED flashes even if the Hard Disk Drive is not being accessed. If
SATA Hard Disk Drive is used, the DISK LED may stay on.

N8190-157A/158A/159/160 is used, the names of the Fibre Channel controllers may appear with different
names on Device Manager
When 4N8190-157A/158A/159/160 is used in Windows, a different controller name may be displayed per
controller in Device Manager. It is not a problem in operating the system.
To display correct controller name, run the following command stored in the EXPRESSBUILDER DVD and
reboot the system.

Windows Server 2012:
