11. Fit the HDD cage guide rails to the support bracket
guides and insert the cage.
Important
Be careful not to hit the motherboard components with the HDD cage.
Be careful not to pull on the cables when removing the HDD cage.
12. Secure the four screws that were removed in step
6.
13. Connect interface cable and power cable to the
Hard Disk Drive and connect the cable that was
removed in step 4.
14. Connect the SATA cable to the motherboard SATA
connector.
Although the illustration is an example in which the
first Hard Disk Drive is connected, connect to
SATA0 connector.

The cables used differ depending on the installed Hard Disk Drive and the type of
controller to which it will be connected. For details, refer to
Chapter 2

15. Assemble the server.
16. Run the BIOS setup utility and confirm that the Hard Disk Drive is properly recognized from BIOS.
Fit the guide rails of the HDD cage to the guide of the
support bracket
