3.6.2  Mounting the ExpEther IO Expansion Unit (40G) on the rack 

You can mount the ExpEther IO Expansion Unit (40G) on a 19-inch rack by using the N8140-820 
general-purpose  tray  and  the  N8143-121  ExpEther  (40G)  rack  mount  kit.  You  can  mount  up  to  3 
ExpEther IO Expansion Units (40G) per N8140-820 general-purpose tray and N8143-121 ExpEther 
(40G) rack mount kit. 
 
The procedure to mount the ExpEther IO Expansion Unit (40G) is described below. 
(The illustration shows the ExpEther IO Expansion Unit (40G)-4S.) 
 
Refer to the setup guide of the general-purpose tray for mounting the N8140-820 general-purpose 
tray on a 19-inch rack.

Installing a bracket on the unit 
Install a front bracket on the front of the ExpEther IO Expansion Unit (40G) and install a rear 
bracket on the back.
