When you start a house cleaning with the
Neato app, you can select one of the profiles
below to determine the robot’s cleaning style.
TURBO
In the Turbo profile, the robot brush and
blower are set to high, providing strong
suction and moving at a normal speed.
This is the default mode.
ECO
In the Eco profile, the brush and blower are at
a medium setting, allowing the robot to clean
a larger area on a single charge. This is the
quietest mode.
DEEP CLEAN
In the Deep Clean profile, the robot moves
at a slower pace, with the brush and
blower set to maximum and 50% larger
overlapping lanes. This results in maximum
cleaning performance. Deep Clean is only
recommended for carpets and rugs.
Extra Care Nav is useful if you have delicate
furniture or areas your robot has trouble
navigating. With Extra Care Nav enabled,
the robot navigates more carefully around
objects and obstacles. Because it leaves a
wider buffer around items like chair legs,
the robot may not be able to get fully
underneath some furniture.

NEATO FLOORPLANNER
Neato FloorPlanner software brings you
advanced cleaning and mapping capabilities.
You can use the Neato app to create a
MyFloorPlan which allows you to view the
area you want to clean. You can also manage
and add information for advanced cleaning
and mapping.
DISCOVERY MODE –
CREATE MYFLOORPLAN
Run the Discovery Mode to create your
MyFloorPlan.
Place the Neato Robot on its charge base,
and using the Neato app, start the Discovery
Mode. Your Neato robot will do a quick run-
through of one level of your home and then
return to base. Your robot must be started
from its base using the Neato app, and it must
do a complete run--start to finish--with the
robot docking at the end for the MyFloorPlan
to be created. Once the cleaning map is
created, you can save it as MyFloorPlan.
“NO-GO” LINES
Place “No-Go” Lines on your MyFloorPlan to
keep your Neato robot out of specific areas
of your home. You can also join 4 “No-Go”
Lines together to create a “No-Go” Zone for
your robot. Some examples of using “No-Go”
Lines are to keep your robot away from a
stair case, a balcony, or around your pet’s
water and food bowls.
SAVING A CLEANING MAP AS
MYFLOORPLAN
After every cleaning run, you can view your
Cleaning Summary, which includes a map of
the area cleaned. If for any reason you prefer
a specific Cleaning Map to your MyFloorPlan,
you can save any Cleaning Map to be your
new MyFloorPlan.
Neato FloorPlanner Advanced Mapping & Cleaning With The Neato App
NOTE
Before running Discovery Mode, please do
these 2 steps so that you get optimal results:
1) close any doors to rooms that you don’t
want your robot to clean, and 2) pick up any
objects that are less than 4" tall.
NOTE: REPLACING YOUR MYFLOORPLAN
If you save a new Cleaning Map as your
MyFloorPlan, the current MyFloorPlan will be
replaced and you will lose any information
such as “No-Go” Lines that you added.
NOTE
If you press Start and the robot cannot find
it’s location on MyFloorPlan, you will be
notified of this and prompted to either cancel
or clean anyway. If you select “clean anyway”,
the robot will not use MyFloorPlan or respect
any “No-Go” Lines, so you will need to use
the boundary markers to keep the robot out
of any areas you don’t want it to clean.
