9.3. Setting up Trex HD Monitoring Amplifier for a non-Video Study

To connect the Trex HD Monitoring to the Natus computer:
1. Use the supplied USB 2.0 cable to connect the Trex HD Monitoring to the tablet computer.
2. If a Patient Event Button is needed, insert the Patient Event Button into the Patient Event
connection on the headbox.
3. If a Photic Stimulator is needed, insert the Photic Stimulator into the Photic Stimulator connection
on the base unit.
4. When you are ready to run a study, connect the patient leads and transducers to the Trex HD
Monitoring.
Trex HD Monitoring amplifier LED color functionality:
•
Flashing
amber
indicates the Trex HD Monitoring is storing data in its flash memory.
•
Green
indicates the Trex HD Monitoring is connected to the main computer or external battery
pack via USB.
•
Flashing
green
indicates the battery is running low.
