Repair Procedures
Replacing the Thermal Cut-out
If the thermal cut-out does not function properly (see
on page 4-4), replace the component by performing this procedure.
Required Items:
Thermal cut-out (part no. 200051)
1/4-in. nutdriver
To remove the thermal cut-out:

Press the power switch to the
OFF
(O) position, then unplug the power cord.

Remove the upper white door seal and loosen — but do not remove — the screws
inside the door, behind the door stop (see

Pull out and remove the front panel (see

Unhook, remove, and set aside the plenum hold-down springs. Next, disconnect
the thermal cut-out wires (see

Separate the plenum from the filter case.

Locate and remove the screws and kep nuts attaching the failed thermal cut-out
to the plenum assembly. Set aside the screws and kep nuts.
To place the new thermal cut-out:

Place the new thermal cut-out, then attach with screws and kep nuts.

Reinstall the plenum, taking care to fully seat the plenum and filter. Install the
plenum hold-down springs and reconnect the thermal cut-out wires.

Verify the correct function of the thermal cut-out (see

Reinstall the front panel.
5
Test the Warmette for proper operation (see on page 2-5).
CAUTION
Electrical shock hazard when the front panel is removed.
