Annual Maintenance
Cleaning the Blower Housing and Blower Wheel
Required Items:
Vacuum cleaner
To clean the blower housing and blower wheel:

Access the blower housing (see
disassembly instructions).

Vacuum accumulated dust and debris.

Reassemble the Warmette.
Cleaning the Heater Plenum and Box
Required Items:
Vacuum cleaner
To clean the heater plenum and box:

Reassemble the Warmette.
Testing the Thermal Cut-out Function
To verify that the function of the thermal cut-out does not degrade over time,
perform the following procedure annually.
Required Items:
1/4-in. nut driver
Amp probe
6 x 6 in. metal plate
To test the thermal cut-out function:

Press the power switch to the
OFF
(O) position, then unplug the power cord.

Loosen — but do not remove — the screws inside the Warmette door, behind the
door stop (see Figure 6.3,

Pull out and remove the front panel (see Figure 6.4 on page 6-9).

Plug in the power cord, then press the power switch to the
ON
(|) position.
CAUTION
Electrical shock hazard when the front panel is removed.
