Operation instructions
Initial Check
1. Check all parts, such as the fuel tank cap, spark plug, etc. to confirm that they are well positioned.
2. Make sure that the ventilation notches are not clogged with dust and other debris. In such a case there is a risk of overheat
-
ing the engine during operation.
3. Pay attention to the air filter. If it is dirty, it leads to malfunction and excessive fuel consumption.
4. Check the spark plug. If it is dirty, clean it thoroughly and fix the gap. (the appropriate gap is 0.6 to 0.7mm)
Fuel system
1. Put clean fuel in the tank. The fuel consists of a mixture of unleaded gasoline and 2-stroke engine oil in a 40: 1 ratio. Make
sure the fuel and oil are of good quality.
2. Do not refuel unless you have completely switched off the engine. There is a risk of fire.
Lubrication of the gearbox
CAUTION! The earth auger is delivered with TAMOIL TAMLITH GREASE 2 in the gearbox.
Remove the screw under the gearbox and check for grease.
Installation of auger drill bits
Install the plug in the motor socket and secure it securely.
Caution! Do not change the ratio and layout of the gearbox. The characteristics of the machine can change and cause unpre
-
dictable situations.
Security tips
Caution! - Follow the safety instructions. Clover should only be used on the ground. Do not place the trivet on a fixed base. It
is forbidden to use other parts or spare parts than those recommended by the manufacturer.
Preparation of mixture
Mix (25: 1) unleaded petrol / oil
CAUTION! - The two-stroke engines have a lot of horsepower and for this reason we recommend the use of normal 90-octane
unleaded petrol and above. When preparing the mixture, use only oil for 2-stroke engines. Shake the fuel tank well before
refuelling. Only charge when the engine is off and away from heat sources. Before unscrewing the plug, place the machine
on a flat surface so that the fuel does not spill. Just create enough mixture for the job you want to do, so as not to leave the
mixture in the container for a long time.
Starting the engine
Open the cap. Add fuel. Close the cap tightly. Install the switch in the «START» position. Pull the throttle lever and lock it in
