5.6 Calculation of rotor load
●
Calculation of maximum load
When the GLC001 low-speed centrifuge runs at low speed, there is a huge centrifugal
force; When designing each rotor, it is required to have sufficient mechanical
strength when working at the maximum rated speed - that is, "safety factor";
However, this "safety factor" regulation requires that the rotor load should not
exceed its maximum rated load.
If you put the sample in the container and put it into the rotor together when
separating the sample, and its total exceeds the maximum rated load of the rotor,
you must reduce the weight of the sample or calculate the allowable running speed
(nPERM) of the rotor to ensure that the rotor load does not exceed its maximum
rated load.
The allowable operating speed (nPERM) of the rotor is calculated as follows:
Nperm=nmax
×
(maximum allowable load
÷
actual load) 0.5
Nmax: maximum rated speed;
Maximum allowable load: maximum allowable load;
Actual load: actual load.
Do not overload the rotor, otherwise it will cause
the rotor to explode, and the debris generated by
the explosion will damage the centrifuge!
5.7 Filling of samples in centrifugal containers
When the centrifuge is running, the better the balance performance is, and the
separation area of the separated samples will not interfere with each other due to
vibration, so the better the centrifugation effect is. Therefore, the sample should be
filled into the centrifugal container as evenly as possible, so as to achieve a better
balance effect during operation. All samples must be placed in suitable containers.
Carefully check whether the centrifugal container (centrifugal pipe, etc.) used meets
its allowable maximum rated acceleration (centrifugation force); If it meets the
requirements, please reduce the running speed.
Please pay attention to the service life of the centrifugal containers
used, especially when running under the maximum allowable load
and speed, check whether the centrifugal containers used (plastic
