11.1.4 Install external snapring (129) in the groove of the release sleeve to hold the
bearing on the release sleeve.
11.1.5 Lubricate the I.D. of the bearing carrier (126) and install it onto the release
bearing (gently tap onto the bearing if necessary).
11.1.6 Install internal snapring (128) to retain the bearing carrier. Proceed to 11.1.13.
11.1.9 On the bed of a press, support beneath the inner race of the release bearing
(127), with the internal snapring and bearing shield down. Press the release sleeve (125)
into the bearing until the shoulder of the release sleeve stops against the bearing inner
race.
11.1.10 Install external snapring (129) to retain the bearing on the release sleeve.
Proceed to 11.1.13.
11.1.2 Place the internal snapring (128)
on top of the bearing before proceeding
to 11.1.3.
11.1.3 Press the release sleeve (125)
into the bearing until the shoulder of the
release sleeve stops against the bearing
inner race.
11.1.7 (Ball-type release bearing - .137”
basic groove width): Lubricate the I.D. of
the bearing carrier (126) and install it onto
the release bearing (gently tap onto the
bearing if necessary). (The bearing shield
must be toward the groove for the internal
snapring (128)).
11.1.8 Install internal snapring (128) in the
groove of the release sleeve to hold the
bearing carrier on the bearing.
(note: this design has no hole
for a grease hose.)
