7.3.8 Remove the puller and install 2 eye bolts in the holes of the clutch body. Attach a
hoist and lift the clutch from the shaft.

7.4 Seperate the bearing housing from the bell housing.
The illustrations on the previous page show standard bearing housing configurations
found in NACD power take-offs. “Specials” have been designed and sold, but they are
only slight variations of these standard configurations.

Note: Removal of the bearing housing (30) is not mandatory but will be necessary if
replacement of the bearing housing or bell housing (1) is required.
