If you want to print the document before closing the program, click the Print my
document button.
If you decide that you do not want to close the program at this time and want to return
to the document to continue working on it, click the Go back to my document button.
2. Click Close the document and exit Writer button.
Using Writer
After creating a blank document, the Writer window displays, ready for you start creating
your document. This section explains how to use some of the Writer tools to create a
document similar to the one shown below.
The flashing cursor in the upper left corner of the document area indicates where the next
character is placed when you press a key on the keyboard. This is the spot from which you
start creating the document.
To enter the text:
1. Type the phrase:
You’re Invited
2. Press Enter.
