As you work with GlobalPC programs, you will notice similarities on how you select
screen items, enter text, and change text in programs and documents. The principles apply
to any program or document.
Sub menus
– a menu item with a
right arrow indicates a sub-menu.
Click on the desired menu item to
select it.
Menu bar and menus
– from the
menu bar click on menu item to
display a corresponding menu.
Fields
– used to enter text. To the left of each
field is a field name. After clicking on the field
the flashing cursor indicates you can start
typing in the field.
Pull-Down Menus
– used to select an item from a predefined list.
Clicking on the field selector, to the right of the field, displays the
list. Clicking on the desired item places the item in the field.
