Network Integration
Whether you are using a monitoring platform or full SCADA system, the myPV
ClearSky™ PLUS is intended to be a first class “Connected Plant” device.
Overview
The myPV ClearSky PLUS may be added to the local area (LAN) Facility network via an
integrated network switch. All internal networkable devices are connected to that central
switch and may be accessed via MODBUS TCP/IP, Web-Hosted Interface, or Vendor
Provided Software.
By default, the myPV ClearSky PLUS’s ClearSky Control Cabinet has a 8-port Fast
Ethernet (unmanaged) switch. Using only standard features, the included networkable
devices will use six (6) of the ports, allowing for two (2) spares. In addition, the ClearSky
PLUS Control Cabinet has an additional 8-port Fast Ethernet (unmanaged) switch with
four (4) spares.
