DOWN STROKE:
The down stroke is the
displacement stroke, meaning the material in
the inlet body is displaced by the piston and
forced out the pump. The inlet valve ball seats
sealing the inlet body this forces the material to
flow up and out of the pump. The piston body
ball lifts off its seat and allows material to flow
through the piston and out the pump.
