7.7.1. Tightening the wheel drive chain

1. Open and remove the two fastening bolts (1,3) of the wheel drive housing and the
housing cover (2).

2. Loosen the mounting nut (1) located at the end of the chain gear.
3. Tighten the wheel drive chain (2) by moving the gear towards the transmission axle.
4. Tighten the mounting nut (1) of the chain gear and check the chain de ection.
The maximum allowed chain de ection is 10 mm.
5. Reattach the housing cover and fasten the two nuts of the cover.
Use new locknuts to install.
