4.17 Creating
a
Set
A set is a group of user numbers that are sequentially called under a single user
identification number. Set calls are non-speech and services will default to the
lowest common denominator. For example, if you have a group of Alphanumeric,
Numeric and Tone Alert receivers, the paging call will default to the capabilities of
the Tone Alert receiver.
3. Press:
Ctrl 1
4. Select:
Administration [4]
5. Select:
Sets Records [5]
6. Select:
Create Set [2]
7. Type in the set identification number, e.g. 12 and press
Enter
8. At the screen prompt, either:
012 New Member_
- Add
↓
- Search
a. Type in a user number, e.g. 123 and press
Enter
, you will then receive the
message:
User added to Set
. To add further user numbers press
Enter
to repeat this process, or
b. Press the
↓
key to search through the available user numbers and press
Enter
to add a user number to the set, you will then receive the message:
User added to Set
. Press
Enter
then
↓
key
again to repeat this process.
9. When you have finished press
Ctrl 1
, you will now receive the message:
Changes saved
. Press
Enter
to add further sets, or press
Ctrl 1
to return to
the main menu.
