Click the Reset button. If the interlock will not reset, a condition like the enclosure door not
being shut, or the actuator velocity limiting switch being in turtle mode, is likely preventing the
interlock from resetting.
Note: All interlock conditions will not reset until the pump is on.
3. Power up the HPU (hydraulic pump unit) at the pump and on the screen (if the HPU is
shown).
Note: HPU setups vary considerably by lab. This document describes a typical HPU
setup. For more information, consult your lab experts or system documentation.
4. Power up the HSM.
Depending on your installation, the HPU may not be shown with the HSM.
Position the Actuator Using Displacement Control
Position the actuator for the start of the test.
