The Info-Line
The info-line in the upper part of the screen shows the remaining treatment-time if programs
7-11 or 19, 20 are selected. In programs with single pulses the percentage of ascent, top level
and descent of the pulse is displayed.
Outside of a treatment session the info-line shows the following informations:
Setup real time clock:
SET HR - SET MIN - SET DAY - SET MTH - SET YR
Treatment modes:
CON (CONSTANT) = Continuous mode, no automatic changes in pulse width, frequency or
intensity
MOD (MODULATE.) = Modulated mode, periodic automatic changes in pulse width,
frequency and/or intensity
BURST = Bundling of each 9 pulses to pulse groups twice per second
W/R (WORK.REST) = Work/Rest-rhythm of contraction and relaxation in muscle training
RIC = Rectangle Impulse Characteristic for creation of a strength/duration-curve
TIC = Triangle Impulse Characteristic for creation of a strength-duration-curve
Shape of the pulses:
TRIANGLE - TRAPEZE
Notes on certain parameters (for programming):
PULSE = Adjust pulse width
3$86( 'H¿QHSDXVHWLPHEHWZHHQVLQJOHSXOVHV,QWHUUXSWLRQRISURJUDP
5(36 'H¿QHQXPEHURIUHSHWLWLRQV
TRIGGER.A / TRIGGER.M = Select automatic or manual trigger of pulses
7,0( 'H¿QHOHQJWKRIWKHSKDVH
NO LIMIT = Duration of phase or program unlimited
)5(4 'H¿QHIUHTXHQF\LQSURJUDPV
+,/2: 'H¿QHXSSHURUORZHUYDOXH
INTEN.MOD. = Intensity modulation selectable from 100% (no modulation) up to 50%
7,0(02' 'H¿QHWKHWLPHRIRQHPRGXODWLRQLQWHUYDO
WORK = Select duration of the muscle contraction
REST = Select duration of the relaxation between the contractions
RAMP UP = Duration of the ramp up to 100% of the selected intensity
RAMP DN = Duration of the ramp down at the end of each contraction
CONNECT = Prompts for connection of the foot-switch when using programs 13-16
SW HEEL = Mode used if foot-switch is placed under the heel (standard)
SW TOE = Mode used if foot-switch is placed under the healthy foot (exceptional option)
START.DLY = Sets a delay time for the start of stimulation to optimize the foot in gait
STOP.DLY. = Sets a delay time for the end of stimulation to optimize the foot in gait
PRG END = End of program
CABLE = Current circuit is interrupted by missing or defect cable or bad electrodes
More details in the info line are presented in the statistical analysis of treatments in chapter
“Control of Therapy” (page 60).
