Table 5 shows the settings required to enable the backup units in “Summer and domestic hot water” mode (in this case, the only backup that
can be activated is the domestic hot water backup heater and the division into operating ranges does not apply).
Table 6 shows the behaviour of the system and domestic hot water backup heaters in all operation cases of the machine.
It can finally be established that the hot water tank and/or backup heaters (depending on the resources and the priorities selected) have a
setpoint in “heat” mode or in “domestic hot water” mode greater than that of the heat pump. This is achieved by setting an offset on the
setpoints:
•
r29
: Temperature offset for hot water tank and system heaters first setpoint (
G02
);
•
r30
: Temperature offset for hot water tank and system heaters first setpoint (
G05
);
•
r31
: Temperature offset for hot water tank and domestic hot water heaters (
G03
).

It works as shown in Tables
1,2,3 and 4.
In “HEAT + DOMESTIC HOT
WATER” mode the domestic
hot water temperature control
by default has precedence over
the system, so if the
temperature control requires it,
the machine goes into
“DOMESTIC HOT WATER”
operation and the domestic hot
water backup heater works as
shown in Tables 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Only if all of the following 3
conditions occurred:
- configured the output for
System backup Heater;
- r24=1/3;
- water temperature remote
probe of the current system
and configured
(see Point 9.11).
The system backup heater start
operating in the following
situations:
- after
r12
minutes after the
counting starts in “HEAT”
mode which was previously in
operation (see line No. 1);
- if the counting in the
“HEAT” operation mode
mentioned above has not
already been activated, after
r12
minutes from the request
of temperature control.
In DOMESTIC HOT WATER
mode, with remote probe not
configured, the system backup
heater is disabled or its counts
are interrupted.
With “remote on-off” contact
open the System backup heater
is disabled.
It works as shown in Tables
1,2,3 and 4.
