Serial ATA Connector: SATA0 ~ SATA5
Ths connector s a hgh-speed Seral ATA nterface port. Each connector can
connect to one Seral ATA devce.
Important
Please do not fold the SATA/SAS cable into 90-degree angle. Otherwise, data
loss may occur during transmission.
Serial Attached SCSI Connector: SAS_1 ~ SAS_8
The SAS connector s a new generaton seral communcaton protocol for de-
vces desgned to allow for much hgher speed data transfers. It supports data
transfer speeds up to 3 Gbt/s. SAS uses seral communcaton nstead of the par-
allel method found n tradtonal SCSI devces but stll uses SCSI commands for
nteractng wth SAS devces. Each SAS connector can connect to 1 dsk drve.
