- from 31 to 95 min-1 at the stroke of piston 50 mm;
- from 20 to 47 min-1 at the stroke of piston 100 mm.
5. Leakage of the liquid through the sealing of the shaft (other than the inevitable lubrication of
the friction surfaces of the shaft) is not allowed.
6. While writing the working diagram listen to the shock absorber. Knocks, squeaks, and other
noises are not allowed. It is allowed «hiss» caused by the flow of liquid through the valves.
"Hissing" is allowed caused by the outflow of fluid through the valves.
4.3.2. Recording shock absorber characteristics
The shock absorber characteristic, which is the resistance of the shock absorber dependent on
the speed of movement of the piston, is constructed according to the working diagrams
recorded on the piston wheels and frequencies providing maximum piston speeds from 0.08 to
1.00 m/s which corresponds to the oscillation frequencies:
- from 31 to 180 min
-1
at the stroke of the piston 50 mm;
- from 20 to 180 min
-1
at the stroke of the piston 100 mm.
4.4. Assessment of test results
The process of comparison of results is carried out in the menu «comparison of results» (fig. 25).
The buttons «1», «2», «3» make the selection of displayed graphs.
