4 INSTALLATION
The SCs are installed according to dimensional and connection drawings in
Appendix C.
Place for SC installation shall be selected considering operational constraints
(operating temperature, IP rating, explosion protection class); all required information is
listed in Table 3 and Appendix C.
4.1
Central unit installation
CU has hinged type of mounting to vertical bulkhead. Before mounting select an
installation place regarding free lead of cables and maintenance access.
4.2
User terminals installation
4.2.1 Installation of stationary user terminals
Depending on class and type user terminals may have desk-top or hinged (wall)
or console (flush) type of mounting, see Appendix C.
Select a place for UTs installation regarding convenience of access, normal
operation and maintenance, if required.
4.2.2 Installation of radio telephone units
It is recommended to select a mounting place for base stations BS
/
CH-ADC and
BS-ADCW in the centre of the room (facility) where portable RTC units are supposed to
be used.
It is recommended to install power supply unit PS-ADCW within max. 2 m from
the telephone receiver holder due to limited length of standard cable.
It is recommended to install power supply unit PS-ADC within max. 2 m from the
base station and charger BS/CH-ADC due to limited length of standard cable.
4.3
Installation of other units
Junction boxes КР-16 shall be installed inside and mounted on vertical bulkhead;
integrity and reliable fastening of connected cable is ensured by cable glands and cable
tie of boxes.
